At first my cat was afraid of this. In less than 2 days she was all over it. Fun to watch her. Glad there's a replacement butterfly as I'm not sure how much longer the first one will last. However, wish the motion was was a bit more intermittent and directional.our cats really had fun playing with this ,would be nice if it would turn off when sitting idle but it is a good "toy" for catsonly complaint is how fast the butterfly breaks down, though it is a plus they added an additional butterfly, with the durability of it you might need like 10 of themI’ve tried several toys for them and this one is by far the favorite. They run to attack when it gets turned on. Recommend to all cat parents.Works great, but the cats destroyed the butterfly in no time. In the end I just folded over some packing tape on the end and that stuck great and made a good substitute.All five cats did lose interest in it after about a week though :/My cat look at it as if thinking, "what is this and why is this doing what it does".
