We're using this cover as a water block/ leaf collector on top of our winter cover. Being that our winter cover is mesh, this cover stops the water level from rising with all the rain we get in the fall. It's not as heavy material as I would have thought but that's a good thing for us because it's not the primary cover. Just keep the water removed from the cover and if you use the cover in this manner,you will be happy with it. Also, we plan to use it in the early spring to block rain and most importantly,sunlight! This method will keep the light from producing algae and you can open pool at a later date if desired. Thanks!
