We had our in-ground pool built in 1994. This is our 5th cover in 30 years. The first 3 covers on average lasted 8 winters – the last one only 3. It was deteriorating before my eyes as water wicked thru from the pool. It was Leslie’s best with a 20 year warranty – I didn’t dare put in a claim with them as I would just end up with another very poor quality cover. As I shopped around, I found most pool covers have deteriorated quality-wise, with most not even listing their thickness or break strength. This one had the best thickness and break strength listed, so I ordered it - definitely thicker and heavier than the previous one from Leslie’s. Only concern was the quality of the seem between sections (see photo). It’s absolutely water tight and hope it stays that way longer than the last one – time will tell.
