These patches work well and appear to be long-lasting. When installing the cover on our pool this fall, we ripped the cover in one spot. These patches match our green cover and were easy to apply. I would suggest putting a patch on both sides of a tear if possible. Good for holes or tears that are smaller than the patch dimensions, or I suppose several could be used and overlapped for larger areas of damage. Maybe we can get another year or two out of our expensive cover with these patches (and loosening up some of the tie-down spring fasteners).
