When read description I didn’t see anything that said gas needs to be mixed but I should have known since it was a 2 cycle engine. It was very well made.This is a great little pump I have not run it yet but I read the specs before I bought it I’ve been a plumber 25 years I am now a master plumber and I am highly trained in picking out the appropriate pump for the appropriate job this is a good all around pump for anyone that has something to pump even gasoline I don’t know where the thing is built but it wasn’t in China and it wasn’t in Mexico I’m pretty sure it was built in Europe I could be wrongThis pump will not pump water. I have use different types of gas pumps in the past and they’ve all worked I was looking for a smaller lighter version to make it easier to maneuver absolutely do not waste your money on this pump.
